Milton Chalet Motel - Nelson

The location of this motel is very convenient, as it is within walking distance of the city center and some venues. the staff is friendly and accommodating, making sure guests have milk on arrival and daily housekeeping. Rooms are clean and tidy with a good size. Some units are being modernised with spacious lounges and new furniture. the price is reasonable, and there's a lovely pool for hotter days.

Some units need an update, particularly the ones with tired decor and outdated furniture.

Great value for money and plenty of space for a family. Loved having a whole kitchen to make meals in, and the location was just a few minutes' walk from shops and restaurants. Bonus points for the comfortable beds and clean linens!

The water couldn't seem to find a consistent temperature, and the pressure was so weak that it took twice as long to wash my hair. Plus, there was no way to hang towels or clothing in the bathroom, which was a huge inconvenience.

Perfect cleanliness and really kind staff. The hotel facilities were great and the location was convenient. We appreciated the complimentary parking and transportation services.

The room had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. the location was great, with convenient access to shops and a short walk to the town center.

The decor was a bit outdated and there were some issues with temperature control in the upstairs unit we stayed in. We also found the bathroom to be quite small for our group of five.
